Logistics:
The ceremony runs 20-30 mins, is interactive and experiential and something i'm sure you all would enjoy.
Locations: Your Choice. The ideal location is a site which is regarded as a pu`uhonua, place of refuge, peace and sanctuary. Beautiful Beaches, Sacred Birthing Stones and Healing Heiau are traditional places of worship.
If a beach permit is required, we can process that for $150 which includes required insurance required by the state.
All State beaches and Parks require liability insurance, a $1,000,000 policy and a permit for use.
We are able to secure your permit for you at about the same cost for you to do it for yourself.
Fee: In terms of my fee for service, as an elder, I humbly accept offering of Ho'okupu as Sacred Protocol, kindly read on this on page for Fees, Tithes & Offerings for proper protocol and proper innermost attitude for better receptivity to sacred blessings. Other customized costs could be:
Off Island: my round trip ticket, Hawaiian Airlines
Ceremonial Maile Lei for Kahu: $75
Suggested Leis: Maile lei for Makua/parent figures.
Maile is considered Sacred and in Ancient Times only Worn by Royalty Ali'i.
It represents Love, Honor & Respect and is deemed sacred protocol for Hawaiian ceremonies. (Optional) $150 for two adults. These can be dried and preserved afterwards
Sacred Ceremony includes the following:
Sacred Bowls of Light (wooden) would be offered for (2) Makua/parent figures, baby and sibling.
Ti leaf leis are offered for Makua/parent figures, baby, sibling and Guest
Ti leaf kupe'e for the wrist for Makua/parent figures, baby sibling and Guest
Photographer (optional)
